Unfortunately the “Free” 30-day trial of the secure file service for business needs a credit card. They did give an explanation for needing a credit card – a poor reason – but a reason:
“Why do you need my credit card now? We offer a free trial of ShareFile so you can see for yourself how easy it is to use and how much value it can add to your business. However, it costs us time and money to provide this service to you (all free trials come with complimentary custom branding as well as access to a dedicated account manager for training and support) and so we must limit our offer to one free trial per customer. Your valid credit card number helps us verify that you’re qualified for a free trial and that you are committed to evaluating the product during the 30-day trial period…”
